Step 1

Consult

When your quilt top first arrives, we work with you to choose just the right pattern and threads. We measure and inspect, suggesting ways to enhance the beauty of your piece.

If you need batting or backing, we can provide that to you as well.

Step 2

Prepare

Before we load the quilt, we clip any stray threads and trim any bulky seams to ensure a smooth finish.

If the backing isn't pre-washed, we do so to ensure the stitching work is flawless.

Once loaded, we continue to inspect, run basting stitches to hold things in place, check tension and set your thread and pattern choices.

Step 3

Quilt

We provide many quilting options:

Meander - a free-motion stitch, kind of like puzzle pieces. Perfect for quilts that will be washed frequently.
Edge-2-Edge (E2E) - For special themes all over the quilt, we have an extensive pattern library to choose from.
Custom Work -- Looking for more detail, special blocks or borders, echoing applique? We can make it happen!
